Half Day Malindi Tour
Begin the tour with a visit to the great Portuguese historical monument Vasco Da Gama Pillar built in 1498, Pay a visit also to the Portuguese chapel the first Christian church in East Africa built in 1509, to carter for only 60 Portuguese present at the time. St Francis Xavier, a founding member of Jesus society visited Malindi in 1542, and buried one of his sea men at the chapel, on his way to India.
