Nairobi National Park
Nairobi National Park is a unique ecosystem by being the only protected area in the world close to a capital city. The park is located only 7 km from Nairobi city center.
The Savannah ecosystem is comprised of different vegetation types. Open grass plains with scattered acacia bush are predominant. Major wildlife attractions are the Black rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, buffaloes, Giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, elands and diverse bird-life with over 400 species recorded.
Other attractions include the Ivory burning site Monument, Nairobi Safari Walk, the Orphanage and the walking trails at hippo pools.

Here is what’s included in the program of this one day tour

A wonderful one day Tour, which takes you to Nairobi National park, the only park in the world close to the capital city, visit the renowed David Sheldrick elephant orphanage, feed the endangered Roths-child Giraffes, visit the famous Karen Blixen museum, home of the author of the movies, ‘Out of Africa’, sum up the tour with a visit to the Beads factory!
DAY 1: HOTEL/PLACE OF STAY IN NAIROBI.
You will be picked in the morning after breakfast at your hotel/place of stay in Nairobi, visit the Nairobi National park, embark on a game drive, search for the Lions, Cheetah, Leopard, Giraffes, Zebras among others.
Later pay a visit to the nearby David Sheldrick Elephant orphanage, meet orphan elephants at close range during their daily mud bath and feeding, visit the Giraffe Center, feed the endangered Roths-child Giraffes, in their natural habitat, memorable shots taken, pay a visit to the famous Karen Blixen museum, settle for lunch.
Later visit the Kazuri Beads factory, marvel at the great skills by the locals, a chance to support them, you will later be dropped at your hotel/place of stay!

Karen Blixen museum is a worth place to visit, home of te famous author of the movie ‘Out of Africa’, settle for lunch in a restaurant, later visit Bomas of Kenya, a place with rich cultural heritage of different communities, be entertained in traditional songs and dance as you join them, later you will be picked and transfered back to your hotel!
